Ferdinand Hanquet of Liege (1) Belgian (“Acier Cockerill” – Steel by Cockerill) 16ga black powder, double barreled shotgun 29.5” barrel “M. Eriksson Borlänge” is engraved on the barrel. This antique shotgun is beautifully engraved and has a gorgeous patina. It features a painting of bird dogs on the right side of stock. Minimal pitting in the barrels, overall very nice condition and a gorgeous firearm. Serial number is difficult to read, so I can’t guarantee that’s the exact number (it’s a partial stamp) Note: It hasn’t been fired in a long time, so having it inspected by a reputable firearms restorer before using would be ideal. I have personally never fired it.
