Remington .308 model 700 SPSV 26 Heavy Barrel 84218 Tactical Special Purpose NIB Here is the 700 SPS-V, Special Purpose Synthetic, Varmint version of its Model 700. Manufacturer is Remington Arms. Construction is all steel barrel and action, with alloy trigger group and graphite based synthetic stock. Finish is Remington Special Purpose matte black metal throughout, including the bolt body. Stock is DuPont synthetic with pliable gray rubber inserts for enhanced holding qualities. Forend area is vented beavertail for enhanced heat dissipation and improved accuracy. Type is Mauser descendant Bolt Action 4+1 internal magazine with BDL type floorplate. Barrel is 26 inch Heavy Barrel with 1:12 right hand twist. Chambering is .308 Winchester and 7.62×51 NATO Interchangeably.
