Exact Pistol in the photos. Here is Sig’s traditional hammer fired polymer framed service pistol, the SP2022. Manufacturer was Sig Sauer of Exeter, NH, and so marked. From its 24B prefix, it was manufactured in 2011. Chambering is 9mm, with standard 15 shot factory magazines. Type is double and single action semi-automatic, hammer fired and with firing pin safety, and with left side decocking lever. Construction is steel slide assembly and internal parts in a steel reinforced polymer frame. Barrel is 3 3/4 inch flared muzzle, 6 groove right hand 1:9.84 rifling. Sights are 3 dot with dovetailed Front and rear. Weight is only 27.5 ounces empty. The SP2022’s .350 smooth faced trigger pulls double action at 9 pounds, with 1 inch of travel; single action is two stage 5 pounds. Overall length is 7 3/8 inches from the muzzle to the back of the grip frame; 5 1/2 inches from the top of the rear sight to the bottom of the butt; and frame width of 1.12 inches not counting the slide release lever. Finish is matte Nitron with matching polymer, and with stippled surface grip frame panels. This Sig comes from interdiction and security service in the jurisdiction of Borinquen Air Station. Surface detractions are minimal, principally faint edge wear. We rate it as Excellent 90%, but photos should tell. No CA or MA Civilians.
