Built on a full-size frame and slide, the Stainless Steel Milspec is made from stainless steel with a polished finish on the flat surfaces and beat-blasted matte finish on the rounded areas. With a match-grade barrel made from stainless steel, the slide features slanted serrations on the rear only and a mainspring housing found on the original GI issue 1911-A1’s but including Springfield Armory’s I.L.S. The pistol also features a standard spur hammer and grip safety. The single sided, non-extended thumb safety and short military trigger are both true to the original 1911A1 design. Coming with combat fixed 3-dot sights, and a lowered and flared ejection port, each Mil-Spec comes with a beautiful pair of cross-cannon emblazoned walnut grips that are held in place with slotted grip screws.
